Florida: Coming soon
No. 3 — Donate diapers
From NPR: “As Harvey delivers its wrath to the Gulf area, relief organizations are stepping in to provide assistance to thousands of evacuees. They’re providing food, water and shelter. But one thing that they don’t always provide are diapers. That can be a real problem for parents of young children.” That means, diaper donations would be greatly appreciated by anyone with a young child.
No. 4 — Help homeless pets
Thanks for all your support!
Girls on the Run Los Angeles (GOTR) is an organization that inspires girls to recognize their inner strength through the sport of running. Trained coaches lead small teams through discussions, activities and running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-5th grade develop skills to help navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness.
The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.
