We are proud of our parent involvement at Ivanhoe. Parents help out in the classrooms regularly. Each Teacher posts dates and times needed for volunteers. You can also inquire about taking work home to help with your classroom. In order to be on campus after the bell rings helping children, you must have a valid tuberculosis skin test on file in the office.

Each time you volunteer go into the office. In a gray small box will contain each volunteers card. Sign the time in and grab a volunteer badge. When you are done volunteering drop the badge off and write your check out time on the volunteer card.
To read on what steps you need to complete to volunteer review LAUSD procedures.
Obtain a negative TB skin test and have this LAUSD form. approved by the physcian or clinic.
Lastly, and most importantly every parent must be trained on all of the equipment at school. Please see Ms. Rescia for the next parent volunteer training date. Generally it is on Wednesday morning at 8:30 am. Confirm with Ms. Rescia or email her at lrescia@lausd.net.
We no longer have funds to replace any of our machines. Can you imagine what would happen if the laminating machine or copy machine broke due to improper usage? Please do not use the machines until you have been trained.
